Wish We Were Here:
Working with Local People to shape Sheffield City Strategy 2010-2015
Sheffield First Partnership is in the process of developing the next Sustainable Community Strategy (or City Strategy), which will set out the city’s ambitions and how these will be achieved over the next five years.
We want to ensure that all local people are engaged in developing the strategy and we have been distributing information around your local community - in local shops, libraries and through local community groups.
We are now in the process of collating all the comments/suggestions that we have received to date, and will post any updates on this website in the near future.
We are aware that a number of community groups are already working closely with one or more of the Sheffield First family of partnerships, and you may have already input into those groups. To ensure that we do not duplicate this work, we will be gathering the outcomes of current consultation and engagement activities and will make sure that this is reflected in our final report to the Sheffield First Partnership Board.
If you would like to find out more about how we are approaching the next Sustainable Community Strategy, please read the relevant Board papers from our September 2009 meeting.
