Healthy Sheffield Network

Healthy Sheffield Network

The Healthy Sheffield Network was launched on 26 February 2009 at Ponds Forge.

What is the Healthy Sheffield Network?
The work of a wide range of organisations and individuals in our city make an important contribution to improving health in Sheffield.  The Healthy Sheffield Network is therefore a mechanism for joining up those organisations and individuals to work in partnership to improve health together.

Who is the network for?
The network is open to all those in Sheffield involved in achieving improvements in public health, whether as a paid officer, volunteer, active community member or employer.

What will the network do?
This network will provide an opportunity for individuals and organisations in the city to:
  • Build an understanding of the public health issues facing Sheffield.
  • Identify health needs for Sheffield.
  • Agree shared priorities for health.
  • Coordinate actions to improve health.
  • Share expertise in delivering public health interventions.
  • Empower more people to actively contribute towards improving health in Sheffield.
