Help shape the future of Sheffield: Wish We Were Here
15 October 2009

Sheffielders are being invited to have their say in shaping the future of the city.

Sheffield First Partnership is developing the next City Strategy which will reflect everyone’s aspirations for the city.

Between now and 2 January 2010, the Partnership will be asking local people what they would like Sheffield to be like by 2015 in terms of: community safety; the economy and jobs; young people; older people; health; the environment; and anything else that is important to the people of Sheffield.

Cllr Paul Scriven, Chair of Sheffield First Partnership and Leader of the Council says: ‘We are keen to hear the views of local people and welcome your suggestions.  We want to ensure that everybody has the chance to have to help shape the future of Sheffield and have their say in developing the strategy.  We will be distributing information around your local community - in local shops, libraries and through local community groups over the coming weeks.

“To tell us what you think needs to improve to make Sheffield a better place to live and work, visit the Wish We Were Here web page. ”
