Terms of Reference
 
 
The Sheffield First Partnership Board has responsibility for:
 
  • Strategic leadership to promote the economic, social and environmental well being of the city.
  • Setting the overarching City Strategy and strategic direction for Sheffield First Partnership, in consultation with thematic partnerships, partners and the local community.
  • Communicating and engendering support and active participation in the vision for the city.
  • Taking a long-term view, identifying new opportunities and challenges that face the city and ensuring that a response is developed in the best interests of the city.
  • Defining the overall roles, responsibilities, and structure of the Sheffield First Partnership, as a whole.
  • Joining up the work across the Partnership and with partners, to ensure coordinated strategic planning and a coherent approach to delivery of the ambitions and objectives of the City Strategy and the Sheffield First Agreement.
  • Reviewing performance against the City Strategy and the Sheffield First Agreement, at the highest level, receiving reports from the thematic partnerships, as outlined in the Performance Management Framework.
